Shree Ramvijay Rice & Pulse Mill

Our mill, Shree Ramvijay Rice & Pulse Mill, is located in Rajoda, right on the Bavla Sanand Road. We are very easy to find because we are so close to the railway crossing. You can hear the trains passing by all day and night. It’s a sound we have grown very used to over the years. We handle both rice and pulses at this facility. The building is old and has a lot of character, which is a polite way of saying it has some cracks and needs a coat of paint. But the machines inside are what really matter, and they keep running. We spend our days covered in grain dust and making sure the bags are filled correctly. It is a loud environment when the processors are on, so we usually have to shout to be heard. We don't have any corporate offices in the city. This is where we do everything. We know the local farmers around Bavla and Sanand who bring their crops to us. There is a lot of trust built up over the years. We aren't interested in fancy marketing. We just want to do a solid day's work and go home to our families. Sometimes the heat in the summer is almost unbearable under the tin roof, but we keep going. We have a small staff and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s fixing a machine or loading a truck.
