Shree Krishna Engineering Works

Our workshop is tucked away in Tavdipura, right opposite the Laxmi Ice Factory. If you know the B.S. Advance Mills Chawl area, you know it’s a place where people are always busy working with their hands. Shree Krishna Engineering Works has been operating out of this spot for a good while. It can get pretty noisy around here with the machines running, but that's just how an engineering place is. We spend most of our hours fixing things and getting parts ready. It’s not the cleanest job, you’ll usually see us with grease on our shirts or dust on our boots. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to greet you with a tie on. Usually, you’ll just find one of us at a lathe or a welding bench. We take the jobs as they come, some big and some just small repairs for neighbors. The location is handy because everyone knows the ice factory nearby. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just have to deal with it and keep moving. It’s a simple setup, really. We just want to get the metalwork done right so it holds up. No big speeches or promises, just the work we do every day in this part of Shahibaug. It's a bit crowded on the street sometimes, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm around, just the one that does the work.
