Shree Jay Ambe

Shree Jay Ambe operates out of plot 29 in the Ashapura Industrial Estate. We are right near the Alankar Boiler landmark, which is how most people find us. We’re in Phase 4 of the GIDC in Vatva, not too far from the Ramol Char Rasta. If you’ve ever been to this part of Vatva, you know it’s a very industrial setting with lots of trucks and dust. Our building is a simple structure that fits right in with the others on the street. Having been here long enough, we don’t even notice the noise from the nearby factories anymore. The work we do is pretty hands-on, and the team is mostly made up of guys who have been with us for years. Inside, it’s a lot of metal and tools. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find us in the back where the work is happening. It’s hot in the summer, especially with all the machinery running, but we have some fans that keep the air moving a bit. Lunch breaks involve getting tea from a small stall down the road, and that’s usually the highlight of our afternoon. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. Focus stays on getting the jobs done so we can head home to our families at the end of the day. That is how things go here at plot 29 every week.
