Shree Ghanshyam Rubber Works

Our workshop is tucked away in Nehrupark Society in the Gomtipur area. If you are looking for us, we are right behind the Chhikniwala Factory. It’s a busy industrial pocket of Ahmedabad where there is always something being built or moved. We do rubber work here, which involves a lot of heat and heavy molds. The building is a bit old and the walls have seen better days, but the machinery inside works just fine. We spend most of our time on the shop floor making sure the rubber cures correctly and the shapes are right. It’s dirty work and you usually go home with black marks on your clothes, but that is part of the trade. Gomtipur is a crowded place, and our street can get blocked by carts and trucks pretty easily. We have been here for a while now and most of the locals know the sound of our machines. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. We just wait for the phone to ring or for someone to walk in the gate with a sample of what they need. It’s a simple life. We start early when it’s still cool and try to get the heavy work done before the afternoon heat sets in. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s our setup and it has served us well over the years. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out.
