We’re located at No. 64/B in the Maheshwari Industrial Estate over in Tawadipura. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the big water tank in Shahibaug. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here, so we never get lost. Working with rubber means there’s always a specific smell in the air, but we don't even notice it anymore. The estate is usually buzzing with activity from all the different units. We’ve got our machines set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. There are piles of material in the corners and tools scattered on the wooden benches. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we’ve learned a thing or two about how to handle the equipment. It’s a small operation, mostly family and a few workers who have been with us forever. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just do the work as it comes in. The office is just a tiny room with a ceiling fan that squeaks a bit. Lunch is usually a shared affair where we talk about everything except work. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Sometimes things go wrong with a machine and we have to spend hours fixing it ourselves, but that’s just part of the deal. We keep our heads down and just keep producing what we need to. It's enough for us.
