Bhagavati Rubber Product Industries

Bhagavati Rubber Product Industries is over at Plot No. 411/2 in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Vatva. As the name says, we work with rubber, so our plot usually has that distinct smell of heated rubber and sulfur hanging around. We have several molding machines and presses that take up most of our floor space. It’s a busy environment where we’re constantly checking the temperatures and making sure the molds are set right. We’ve been in Vatva for a long time and have seen the area change, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. We don’t have a corporate hierarchy here; everyone just pitches in where they are needed. Whether it’s trimming the edges off a finished part or loading sacks of raw material, we all get our hands dirty. The office is really just a corner of the warehouse where we keep the invoices and the phone. We don’t spend time writing fancy reports or having long strategy sessions. Our day is mostly about meeting the production numbers and making sure the rubber parts aren't coming out with defects. It can be a bit messy, and the black dust from the rubber tends to get on everything, but that is part of the job. We are just a group of people working hard to keep the business going and provide for our families.
