Shraddha Converting Machines Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Plot No. 449 on Sai Sadan Road No. 11. This is in Phase-2 of GIDC Kathwada. If you’ve ever been to the GIDC area, you know it’s a massive place filled with all sorts of manufacturing units. Our plot is tucked away on Road No. 11, and it can get pretty hot inside the shed during the summer months. We have a lot of heavy machinery here because that’s what we do—working with converters and big steel components. The floors are concrete and usually have a few oil spots here and there. It’s a real working environment, not a showroom. We have a small office space near the entrance where the phone stays, but most of the action happens in the back. The sound of metal on metal is basically our background music all day. We have a few guys who have been operating these machines for years, and they can tell if something is wrong just by the vibration of the floor. Kathwada is a bit far out for some, but it’s the right place for a business like ours. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just suppliers and the occasional truck driver picking up a load. We keep a fridge with cold water and a basic first aid kit on the wall. It’s just a straightforward industrial setup where we try to stay on top of our orders.
