Sharda Plywood

Out in Isanpur, we’re located at 10, Rolon Estate. If you’re coming our way, we are near the Budhalal Tobacco place and just behind Hotel Mony. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so there are always trucks moving around. Sharda Plywood is basically a big warehouse full of sheets of wood. We have stacks of plywood that go all the way up to the ceiling. It can be a bit dark inside, but we know where everything is kept. Our days are spent unloading shipments and then loading them back up for customers. It involves a lot of heavy lifting. We use a small office in the corner to keep track of the inventory and write out the bills. It’s usually dusty because of all the wood around, so we try to keep the computers covered. The guys who work here have been with us for a while. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most people find us because they need supplies for a building project and they know we're behind the hotel. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. Sometimes the sun gets really hot on the metal roof, making it a bit warm inside, but we just keep moving. It’s a straightforward business. We sell plywood to people who need it, and we try to make sure the counts are right before the trucks leave.
