Shaivi Enterprises

Our business, Shaivi Enterprises, is situated in the Shivam Industrial Park. We are at Plot No- 61-62. It’s a busy area with a lot of other workshops and small factories around us. Right across the way is the Sarvoday Hotel. We go there pretty often for tea or a quick snack when the day gets long. The park itself is always full of activity. You can hear machines humming and the sound of loaders moving things around. Our space is basically a large shed where we keep everything organized. Well, we try to keep it organized, but sometimes things get a bit messy when a big delivery arrives. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone comes to see us, they usually just find us near the back where the work is happening. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoon and it gets quite warm inside. We have a few big fans to keep the air moving. It’s a practical setup. We handle our own bookkeeping and manage the daily tasks as they come up. There are only a handful of us here, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you might be checking a manifest and the next you are helping move a pallet. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now and it feels like home.
