Service Engineer

We operate Service Engineer out of Arti Society-2 in Naroda. Our specific spot is G/92 on Payalnagar Road. Naroda is a busy part of Ahmedabad, and being in a society means we have to be mindful of the neighbors when we are testing motors or using loud tools. It’s a very local setup. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. The space is filled with old parts we’ve kept just in case someone needs a rare fix. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest. My desk is usually covered in receipts and half-drunk cups of tea. We don’t use any corporate talk here. We just tell people what’s wrong and how long it’ll take to fix it. If we can’t do it, we say so. The Gujarat sun can be brutal in the summer months, so the workshop gets pretty warm. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on whatever arrived that morning. People find us because they live nearby or their friend told them about the guys in Arti Society. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to do the job right so the customer doesn’t have to come back twice. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. We just keep at it day by day.
