Service Engineer

We are over in Ranip, at New Satyam Society. It's house number 11. It isn't a storefront with big signs or anything, just where we operate from. Most of the time, we’re out on calls around Ahmedabad, but this is the home base. It's where the spare parts sit and where the paperwork gets ignored until the weekend. We started doing this a long time ago. It's just honest work, really. Some days the phone rings a lot, and some days it's just the sound of traffic from the main road. We know most of the neighbors now. They see us coming and going with our bags and gear. It's a bit crowded inside sometimes because we have stuff stacked up, but we know where everything is. Usually. Dealing with machines and technical stuff means hands are always a bit greasy. We don't mind. It's better than sitting behind a desk all day. Ranip is a busy area, so getting around can be a pain with the traffic, but we manage. If someone asks for Service Engineer, they usually find their way to our door eventually. We don’t have a receptionist or a coffee machine for guests. Just a bench and some tools. It’s a simple setup for simple work. We keep going because there is always something that needs a bit of attention or a quick fix. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping things running as best as we can.
