Savariya Flourmill

Over at Savariya Flourmill, things are always a bit white with flour dust. We share the space at Plot No: 132/133 in Radhey Shyam Estate. Just like the neighbors, we’re right opposite GVMM and near Bileshwar Estate in Odhav. The Ring Road Circle isn't far, which helps with the grain deliveries coming in. Running a flour mill means you get used to the constant humming of the machines. It’s a steady sound that fills the day. We spend most of our time making sure the grain is clean and the grind is just right for whoever is buying. It’s a basic business. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or a corporate team. It’s just us and the mill. People from around the area know where we are, especially since we’re in such a busy part of Odhav. Sometimes it gets crowded with trucks near the entrance, but we figure it out. The air always smells a little like toasted grain, which isn't a bad way to spend a workday. We keep the machines maintained and the floors swept as best as we can, though the flour always finds a way to settle everywhere. It’s just how a mill works. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and we just stick to what we know and keep grinding every day.
