Satyanarayan Engineering Works

Our shop is at 2 Sukrut Industrial Estate, right on Naroda Road. It’s easy to find because we are near the Octroi Naka and right behind the old Bansidhar Mills. Satyanarayan Engineering Works has been operating in this busy part of the city for quite a while. The estate is always full of trucks and people moving crates around. Inside our space, it’s mostly the smell of cutting oil and the sound of metal hitting metal. We don’t have any air conditioning, so we just keep the big doors open and hope for a bit of a breeze. Most of the guys working here live nearby, so we are all local. We do a lot of heavy work that leaves you tired by the end of the day. There is no fancy showroom here. If you want to see what we do, you just look at the parts sitting on the pallets. We handle everything from basic welding to more complex machining if the job calls for it. We don’t use any complicated software to run the business. A lot of it is still done with a pencil and a notebook. When things get busy, we just put our heads down and work faster. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we just stay here and keep doing our thing. It’s a tough environment, but it’s where we feel at home among the machines and the noise of Naroda Road.
