Satar Painter

Satar Painter is located right on the Sanand Viramgam Highway. It’s a dusty spot with plenty of trucks and cars zooming past all day long. We are sitting right opposite the Panjrapole and not far from the Sanand St Bus Stand. Being near the Sarkhej and Gandhinagar Highway junction means we see a lot of travelers. We mostly do painting work and sign writing. It’s a practical job. We spend a lot of time outdoors or in the workshop with paint on our clothes. It’s not a clean job, but we like it. The sun can be pretty brutal out here on the highway, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s just a place with brushes, ladders, and buckets of paint. People stop their cars to ask for prices or to see if we can paint a board for them. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the local rhythm of the highway. Sometimes the dust from the road gets on everything, so we are always cleaning our surfaces before we start. It’s hard work, and your back usually aches by the end of the day. But seeing a finished sign or a freshly painted wall makes it worth it. We just keep doing what we know best right here near the bus stand. It is a simple life for us on the road, watching the world drive by.
