Saraswati Engineering

Saraswati Engineering is our small outfit located over in Rakhial. We are at Plot No-223/1-2 in the Narottam Nagar area. It is right opposite Ramdevnagar, so we are pretty easy to spot once you get into the correct lane. We do general engineering work, mostly focused on repairs and small-scale manufacturing for people. The shop is usually full of metal scraps and the smell of cutting oil. It is not a polished or clean environment, but it is where the real work gets done. Rakhial is a busy area with a lot of similar shops, but we have carved out our own little space here. We have a couple of old machines that still run better than some of the newer ones we have seen. The guys working here have a lot of years of experience under their belts. We do not use a lot of big words or have any fancy brochures. If you have a broken part or need something made to a specific size, you just bring it in and we take a look at it. Sometimes we are so busy that we can barely hear ourselves think over the grinding noise from the back. We have been part of Narottam Nagar for quite a while now. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so we fit right in. We just take the jobs as they come and try to get them out. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going every day.
