Sarabhai Polyurethane Coatings is located in the Anand Mangal Complex, right behind Omkar House on C G Road. Being in Navrangpura means we’re in the middle of a very busy commercial area. Our office at 104 is usually filled with the smell of samples and various chemical charts. We deal with coatings and paints, specifically the polyurethane kind. It’s a technical field, but we try to explain things in a way that makes sense. We aren't engineers in white coats, just people who have learned a lot about how to protect surfaces. Sometimes customers come in with a piece of metal or wood and ask us what will stick to it. We give them our best guess based on what we’ve seen work before. The office gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in. We don’t have a big polished lobby or anything like that. It’s just desks, some chairs for visitors, and lots of folders. Navrangpura traffic is a nightmare sometimes, so we often stay late to finish up work when it’s quieter. We’ve been part of the Sarabhai Business Unit for a while, but we run our day-to-day operations pretty simply. We don't use big words to sound important. We just want to make sure the coating stays on and the customer is satisfied with the result. There are better offices in the building, but this one is home to us.
