SANTOSH CONVERTING MACHINERY

Most days here at Santosh Converting Machinery start early when the gates at Plot 62/3 in G.I.D.C. Estate swing open. We are tucked away in Phase-I, not far from Patel Airtemp, and the whole area is usually buzzing with the sound of trucks and heavy work. Our workshop is full of heavy parts and steel pieces waiting to be put together into something useful. It gets quite loud in here once the machines start running and the guys begin their shifts. There is always a layer of fine dust and the smell of industrial oil hanging in the air, but that is just how it is in Vatva. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Instead, you will mostly find us out on the floor checking on a frame or tightening some bolts. People around here know where to find us if they need a specific part fixed or a new machine built for their factory. The walls are a bit stained from years of work and the light isn't always perfect, but we get the job done. Sometimes a customer stops by to talk about a design, and we just pull up a plastic chair and go over the drawings right there. It is a simple way of working, without any fuss or complicated meetings. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metal in front of us until the sun goes down and the estate finally starts to get quiet.
