Sana Diamond

Sana Diamond is out here in Rangpuda village, which is part of the Kadi tehsil in Mehsana district. We are situated quite close to Bhagyodya Hospital, so that is usually the best landmark if someone is trying to find us for the first time. Working with diamonds in a village setting might seem quiet, but there is always something going on. We handle the cutting or the sorting or whatever needs doing with the stones that come through. It’s a job that requires a lot of sitting and looking closely at small things. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed compared to the big cities. We know most of the people who walk past our door every day. Sometimes the power goes out or things get a bit slow, but we just keep at it. It isn’t a high-pressure corporate environment. We just focus on the stones and try to do a decent job with what we have. People from around Kadi know us as just another local spot. We don’t have a website with flashy photos. It’s just a room with good lighting and the tools we need to work on the diamonds. Being near the hospital means there’s always a bit of traffic on the road, which keeps things from feeling too isolated. We like being in Rangpuda. It is home for us, and the work we do here is just a regular part of the local life.
