SAIKRUPA TOOLS

Our workshop is situated at Plot No.14 in Ghanshyam Estate, which is just outside on Mrgha Farm Road. If you are coming from the Viratnagar Cross Road in Odhav, you have to look for the spot opposite the Municipal Ginrol Office. The estate is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, and it gets quite dusty with all the industrial activity around here. We deal with tools and various mechanical parts, so the place is always full of metal shavings and the smell of cutting oil. It’s not a fancy environment, just a workspace where we get things done. We usually have the big shutters open to let some air in, though it doesn't help much during the peak of summer. The team is just a handful of guys who are good with their hands. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable for working with heavy equipment. Most days are spent at the benches or the lathes, making sure everything is sized correctly. We see a lot of the same delivery drivers every week, and we usually stop for a quick chat. It’s a hard-working atmosphere, and we don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders as long as the tools are being made right. It’s a loud place, but we are used to it and we enjoy the daily routine of the industrial estate.
