Sahakar Engineering Works

We are located at Shade No.-6 in the V. K. Estate area of Odhav. It’s pretty easy to find Sahakar Engineering Works because we are right beside Ashish Cinema. Sometimes when the latest movie is playing, you can hear a bit of the music, but usually, the sound of our tools and machines drowns everything else out. The estate stays quite busy throughout the day with trucks coming in and out. Inside our shade, things are usually a bit messy with metal scraps and grease, but that is the nature of engineering work. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for visitors. We just show up, open the heavy doors, and start working on whatever project is currently on the bench. It gets hot under the roof in the afternoons, so we take our breaks when we can. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so they know their way around the equipment without having to look at manuals every five minutes. It’s a practical environment. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone wearing a suit. Usually, you’ll find us in our work clothes, covered in a bit of oil, just trying to get the dimensions right on a part. We’ve stayed in Odhav because it’s where the work is. It’s a tough, honest way to spend the day and we like the routine of it.
