Our shop is at B 202/11 in the Angel Complex. It’s right near the High Court railway crossing in Navrangpura. We’ve been here for a while now, mostly dealing with different types of instruments. It’s not a fancy place with a big sign or anything. Most days you’ll find us sitting at our benches with tools scattered around. There’s always a lot of dust from the street, so we’re constantly wiping down the gear. The trains go by pretty often, and you can hear the signal bell ringing from the crossing. It’s become a normal part of the day for us. We handle repairs and look at things that aren't working right. It takes a lot of patience to figure out some of these devices. Sometimes we spend hours just looking for a tiny fault. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phone with a script. If you call, you just get one of us. Navrangpura is a busy area, so it gets a bit hectic around lunchtime. We usually just grab a tea from the stall nearby and get back to it. The work is steady and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. It’s a practical kind of life, just fixing things and making sure they work. We like the neighborhood even with all the traffic and noise.
