S P Engineering Works (Amraiwadi)

We have been here at Vishal Estate for a long time now. You know how it is in Amraiwadi, lots of noise and work always going on. S P Engineering Works is just a place where we get things done. We are located opposite the Bharat Party Plot, right off the highway. Sometimes the traffic out there is really bad, but we make do. My father started things here, or maybe it was just a group of us, I forget the exact year. We just deal with the metal and the machines every day. It’s not a fancy place. The floor is usually covered in some dust or oil, but that is how a real workshop should be. We handle the jobs that come in, mostly from people we have known for many years. They stop by, have some tea, and we talk about the work. No big meetings or anything like that. Just us at number 12, working through the heat. Some days are slow, while on others we are running around trying to fix things before the sun goes down. It is a good spot, near the NH 8, so people find us easily enough. We do not spend money on big signs or posters. People just know where we are located. If you are passing the party plot, you will see the estate. That is where we spend most of our lives, really. Just regular work for regular people.
