Ruti Machinery Spares Velani Engineers

Our place is 6/B in the Sardar Patel Industrial Estate. It is tucked away behind the Gujarat Petrol Pump in Narol. If you miss the turn at the pump, you have to go all the way around, which is a pain. The estate is always busy with trucks and tempos. Ruti Machinery Spares Velani Engineers is a bit of a long name, but we just go by it. The air in Narol is always a bit thick with dust and exhaust. We keep the shutters up mostly to let the breeze in, even if it brings the dust. Inside, we have rows of spares and parts. It is a lot to keep track of, but we have a system that mostly works. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific part if it’s small. We’ve got a small area for the engineers to sit and look at drawings. The lighting isn't the best, so we use desk lamps. We know the guys at the petrol pump well since we go there for snacks. It is an industrial life. No one wears a suit here. We have grease on our hands and dirt on our shoes. That is just how the work is. The estate gets quiet after 7 PM, but during the day, it is non-stop. We are just one unit among many, but we stay busy with our own tasks.
