Roshnani Enterprises has been operating out of the Nageshwar Industrial Estate in Amraiwadi for a good while. Our spot at number 9 is right opposite Jawahar Nagar, and if you know the Gulabnagar Road area, you know it gets pretty crowded. The estate itself is a maze of small workshops and warehouses, all packed together. Our place is basically a big room filled with whatever stock we have at the time. The floors are a bit uneven and the paint on the walls has seen better days, but it is a functional space. We spend the morning unloading crates and the afternoon packing them back up for someone else. There is always someone shouting across the yard or a truck trying to reverse into a tight spot. It is a bit chaotic, but that is just the vibe of Amraiwadi. We don’t bother with fancy displays or a reception desk. If you come by, you’ll probably find us moving some boxes around or talking to a driver about a delivery route. The air is thick with the smell of the nearby factories, and it gets quite hot under the tin roof when the sun is out. We just keep moving, making sure the orders are ready and the inventory is counted. It is a practical life, working with our hands and keeping track of the supplies that come in and go out every single day.
