Roll Coverings

Our small workshop is at No. 3 Pathik Apartment in Ganesh Gali, over in the Maninagar area. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a business like ours since it’s in an apartment building, but we’ve made the ground floor space work for us. We handle a lot of work related to covering rollers for various machines. People bring us their worn-out parts, and we figure out how to put a new surface on them so they can go back to work. It’s a specialized kind of job, and it gets a bit messy with the materials we use. There’s usually a smell of rubber or adhesive in the air, but we’re used to it by now. The space is filled with rollers of different sizes waiting to be picked up or worked on. We don’t have a lot of room for a front desk, so we usually just talk to customers right there in the work area. Maninagar is a good place to be, and Ganesh Gali stays pretty busy throughout the day. We aren't trying to grow into some huge corporation; we just like doing this specific task and doing it right. Sometimes the machinery we use acts up, and we have to spend the morning fixing it instead of working, but that’s just life in a small shop. We just keep at it and get the rollers back to their owners. It takes some muscle to move the bigger rollers, so we all pitch in when needed.
