Shree Gurukrupa Engineering Works

We run Shree Gurukrupa Engineering Works from our shop at D/19/2 in Prakash Tenament. It’s right near Prakash Estate in the Rita Nagar area. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the sound of welding or grinding before you even see the door. It’s a real workshop, so there’s always some metal scraps around and plenty of grease on our hands. We do a lot of small-scale engineering and repair work for folks in the neighborhood. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and we know most of the people who live and work around the estate. It’s not a corporate office by any means; it’s just a place where we fix things and build parts. A lot of our day is spent measuring metal or working at the lathe. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our jobs come from people just walking in with something that’s broken or needs a custom part made. It gets hot in the shop during the summer, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We take pride in the fact that we can figure out a solution for most mechanical problems that come through the door. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but it’s what we know. We just show up every morning and see what the day brings and try to finish the jobs on time.
