Resto Battery

We’re located at unit 23 in Harsiddhi Estate. If you know the Gota area, we’re just behind the Shripad Residency and quite close to Gota Lake. Resto Battery is just a small spot. We deal with batteries, mostly testing them and fixing them up for people. People bring in old batteries that aren't holding a charge anymore. We see if we can give them a second life. The shop is filled with the smell of lead and acid sometimes. We have to be careful where we step because there are casings and cables all over the floor. It’s a messy job but somebody has to do it. We’ve got a few charging racks and some basic testing equipment. It’s just a small team of us here. We aren't a big factory. We mostly help out people from the neighborhood or local workshops that have dead batteries. Gota has grown a lot lately but we’ve stayed in the same unit. Sometimes we just sit outside by the door when it’s not too hot. We don’t have a marketing plan or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and wait for the locals to bring in their stuff. It’s a simple way to make a living and it keeps us busy. Most people find us through a friend or neighbor. It’s just a normal day for us and we like it.
