It’s right near the temple, which makes it easy to explain to people who haven't been here before. Being close to the Sidhwai Mata Mandir means there's always a bit of life around the corner, especially on certain days of the week. Our workshop is just a standard engineering space. We have the usual lathes and drills you'd expect to see. It’s a lot of metal work and grease, so none of us stay clean for very long. The C. T. M. area is pretty central for this kind of business, so we get a fair amount of people dropping by. We started small and haven't changed much in terms of how we do things. We just take the jobs as they come. Sometimes it’s a small repair, other times it’s something that takes a few days of heavy labor. The roof leaks a tiny bit when the rain is really coming down hard, but we’ve learned where to put the buckets so the machines stay dry. We don't spend money on fancy signs or paint. Most people just know us from being in the estate for so long. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about the blueprints. It’s a simple life, honestly. Just making parts and fixing what’s broken until the sun goes down and we can head home.
