Uday Scrap Traders

We run Uday Scrap Traders over near Kewal Kanta on Nagarvel Hanuman Road in Rakhial. It’s a busy, gritty part of the city, which is exactly where a scrap business belongs. We spend our days surrounded by old metal, plastic, and whatever else people bring in. It’s not a clean job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We have a big scale for weighing things and plenty of space for sorting the piles. Rakhial is full of small workshops, so we get a lot of leftovers from them. We aren't doing anything fancy like "environmental consulting," we just take the scrap and send it where it can be melted down or reused. The traffic on Nagarvel Hanuman Road is always a bit crazy, with carts and trucks coming in and out. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, so most of the local collectors know us by name. It’s a simple process: you bring it, we weigh it, and we pay for it. Sometimes we go out to pick up larger loads if a factory is clearing out their yard. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s a lot of heavy lifting. But it’s what we know. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If you want to talk to us, you just walk into the yard. We just keep the piles moving and the business going. It's a rough business but it’s ours and we’ve been here for years.
