Alco Metal Extrusions Ltd.

Alco Metal Extrusions Ltd. is situated at Plot No. 359, which is just across from Dewarson Pvt. Ltd. and tucked behind the Neptune area in GIDC. It’s one of those spots that’s a little bit hidden if you aren't looking for it, but it’s a big enough plot once you get there. We do a lot of metal extrusion work here, so there are always heavy profiles and bits of aluminum or other metals being moved around. The workshop floor is the heart of the place. It’s usually loud with the sound of the presses and the cutting saws. We don’t have a fancy lobby; usually, if you come to see us, you’ll just find us near the loading bay or at one of the desks in the back. The air always smells a bit like oil and metal, which is pretty standard for this line of work. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone pretty much knows their job. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when a big order is being loaded onto a truck. The area around us is full of other industrial units, so there’s always noise and movement. We just focus on getting the extrusions right and making sure they are packed up properly for the customers. It’s a functional space that suits the kind of heavy work we do every day. We try to keep the machines in good shape so we don't stop.
