Chamunda Scrap Traders (Amraiwadi)

We run a scrap business in Amraiwadi, right across from the Baghe Firdosh pumping station. It’s on the road between CTM and the Jashodanagar Chowkdi. If you’ve driven that way, you’ve probably seen us. Chamunda Scrap Traders is basically a big yard where we collect and sort through all kinds of metal and junk. It’s not a clean job, but we enjoy it. There’s always something different coming in on the trucks. We weigh things, sort them out, and send them where they need to go next. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming and going all day. My brother and I manage most of it along with a few helpers. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just buy scrap and sell it. It’s as simple as it gets. The sun gets pretty hot out here in the yard, but we’re used to it. People from around the neighborhood bring us things they don't need anymore, and we try to give them a fair price. We’ve been at this location for years, and everyone around Amraiwadi knows where to find the pumping station, so they find us too. It’s a loud, dusty life, but it’s ours. We’re just here every day, sorting through the piles and keeping the business moving. Sometimes the yard gets a bit disorganized when we have too much stuff, but we eventually get it all sorted out and cleared.
