You can find us at 63 Nagarvel Industries Estate. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, being near Quality Rubber and opposite Chandulal Estate in Keval Kanta. We’ve been in this pocket of the industrial zone for ages. Mayur Engineering Co. isn't a place with a lobby or a receptionist. You walk in and you’re basically in the middle of the workspace. There’s always something being cut or ground down, so it’s pretty noisy. We do a lot of custom work, which means every day looks a bit different and a bit disorganized. There’s piles of steel and old blueprints lying around. We don’t use any fancy computer software to track every single minute; we just know what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes we’re working late because a machine went down, and other days it’s quiet enough to actually sweep the floor properly. The area is crowded, and parking is a nightmare, but we’ve made this spot our home. Most of our tools are old but they still work better than the new stuff sometimes. We don't have a lot of time for formalities. If someone comes by, we just talk shop and see what they need. It’s a practical way to live. We’re just a bunch of guys who know how to work with metal, trying to keep things moving in the estate.
