Din Engineering Works

If you are looking for us, we are right across from Pankaj Estate, near the Gujarat Bottling bus stop in Rakhial. It’s a busy spot near the crossroad. Our workshop is where we do all our engineering work. There is always the sound of grinding or welding going on in the background. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the floor space. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the parts and tools lying around. We don't really have a quiet office area, so most conversations happen right there on the shop floor. It’s dusty and smells like oil, but that’s just how an engineering works looks. We get a lot of local people coming in with stuff that needs fixing or parts they need made. We just write everything down in a big notebook we keep on the main bench. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we usually find something else to do. It’s not a polished business by any means. We just focus on the metal and the machines. Most of us live nearby, so we know the neighborhood like the back of our hand. It’s a straightforward place where we just get on with the daily tasks at hand. There is a small radio on the shelf that plays music while we work. We don't mind the noise much as long as the work gets done.
