Solanki Photography

Solanki Photography is based out of Hotel Krishna Park, which is right near Gondal Chokdi. It’s a pretty busy spot because of the highway junction nearby, so there’s always people passing through. We spend most of our time either out taking photos or sitting back in the room editing them on the computer. The hotel is a good landmark, so people never really get lost trying to find us. We do all kinds of photography for the people around here. It’s a lot of work carrying the tripods and lighting gear around, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big fancy studio with a lobby; it’s more of a practical workspace where we keep all our cameras and lenses. Some days we might be out at a wedding or a local event, and other times we’re just here catching up on the backlog of prints. Gondal Chokdi is always noisy with the trucks and cars, but it gives the place a bit of life. We don’t really do much promotional stuff. Our work usually speaks for itself when people see the photos we’ve taken for their neighbors or friends. It’s a long day sometimes, especially when the editing takes forever, but we enjoy the process. We just try to get the shots right and make sure everyone is happy with the final result. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We just try to stay patient and wait for the right moment to click.
