Rajdeep Fab Engineering

Rajdeep Fab Engineering is located at number 7 in the Shardda Estate 2. We are right on the S.P. Ring Road, which makes it easy for trucks to get in and out, especially being so close to the Hathijan Circle. Since we are in the Vatva GIDC, there is always noise and movement all around us. Our specialty is fabrication, so there is almost always someone welding or cutting metal in the back. The flashes from the welding torches are a common sight if you happen to walk past our entrance. The workshop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we stack the raw steel and the finished frames. We have a couple of heavy-duty welding machines and some grinders that are constantly running. It’s just a handful of us doing the work, and we don't have anyone sitting in an office answering phones. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us has to stop what we’re doing and wipe our hands before picking it up. We’ve been at this spot for a good while and we know most of the other shop owners in the estate. We often borrow tools or help each other out when a job is too big for one shop. It gets very dusty here because of the road, and the heat from the welding makes it a tough place to work in the summer, but we just keep going. We also have a small dog that hangs around the entrance, mostly just sleeping in the shade.
