Raj Engineers

You can find Raj Engineers at Plot No-161 on Road No-4-A in the Kathwada G.I.D.C. area. We are right by the Odhav Ring Road, which makes it easy for trucks to get in and out with materials. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s pretty noisy and dusty most of the time we are working. We are engineers, but not the kind that sit behind a big desk all day long. We are usually out on the shop floor, working with the lathes or checking the welding on a new project. We started this place because we liked fixing things and building parts that actually work for people. It’s a lot of long hours and hard physical work. The building itself is just a standard industrial shed. We have a small office in the front where we keep the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back where the machines are. We have a handful of workers who have been with us since the beginning. We don't have a corporate structure here. If something goes wrong with a machine, we just stop and fix it ourselves. Being near the Ring Road is great for logistics, but the traffic can be a nightmare during the peak hours. We don't have any fancy slogans or marketing talk. We just take the drawings and do what we can to make the parts right. It’s been a long journey from when we first opened.
