R S Mech Tech

You can find R S Mech Tech over at S-3 in the Multi Level Shed area. We are based in Kathawada Gidc, which is a busy industrial zone as most people know. Being in a shed means it’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We do a lot of mechanical and technical work here every day. It gets noisy with the machines running, but that’s the sound of work getting finished. The Multi Level Shed setup is a bit different, but it works for us. We have our tools and equipment set up exactly how we need them. It’s a gritty environment, often smelling like grease and cut metal. We aren't interested in making the place look polished for visitors. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Kathawada Gidc is a big place, so we are just one small part of the whole machine. We see a lot of the same faces from other units nearby. It’s a community of makers and fixers. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets to be a lot in the afternoons. We just keep moving. Our unit, S-3, is usually full of parts and half-finished projects. It’s how an engineering spot should look, honestly. People come to us when they have a technical problem that needs fixing. We take a look and see what can be done. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
