Our unit is number 104 in the Gajanand Industrial Estate. We are near the Ambica Tube compound and the Vatva over bridge is just a short walk away. This part of Ahmedabad is very industrial, so it’s always busy with trucks and laborers. We have been here for a good while. The machines in our workshop run for most of the day, so it’s never really quiet. We don't have a fancy front office or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find us on the shop floor with grease on our hands. It’s a practical place built for work. The heat can be quite something during the summer months, especially with the metal roof above us. We keep a few coolers going to stay comfortable. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us and a group of workers who have been with us for years. We eat our lunch together in a small cleared-out space near the back. The Vatva over bridge makes it easy to give directions to people who haven't visited before. We just focus on making sure the production stays on schedule. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the machines. We aren't doing anything fancy, just solid work every day to fill the orders we get. We finish up in the evening and the cycle starts again tomorrow.
