Qualimark Machine Pvt. Ltd.

You’ll find Qualimark Machine Pvt. Ltd. over at A-42/43 in the Pushpak Industrial Estate. This is part of Phase-I in Vatva, which is a massive G.I.D.C area. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but once you’re in the estate, we’re easy to spot. The workshop is big because the machines we work on take up a lot of room. There’s usually the sound of metal clanging or welding going on somewhere in the back. It’s an industrial life here. The floors are stained with oil and grease in some spots, which is just part of the job. We have a front area where we deal with the paperwork and visitors, but most of the real action is out on the floor. The sun beats down on the roof in the summer, making it pretty warm, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We aren't a high-tech lab; we’re a machine shop where things get built and tested. The staff usually wears overalls that have seen better days. We have a small table where we sit for lunch and talk about things other than work for a bit. It’s a gritty, honest place where we put in long hours to get the machines ready. There’s no corporate polish here, just a lot of hard work. We mostly just focus on the task at hand and try to stay out of the heat.
