Prime Precisions

We are based at 177B/1 on Bharathiyar Road in the Ganapathy area. It is a crowded part of town with a lot of different small shops and businesses all squeezed together. Prime Precisions is our small workspace where we focus on making very accurate and small metal parts. We have some CNC machines and a few manual tools that we use every single day. The room is quite small, so we have to be very careful about where we put things so we do not trip over each other. The natural light is not great inside the building, so we have several bright lamps set up over the benches where the delicate work happens. Most of the people working here grew up in this neighborhood or moved nearby just for this job. We start every morning with a quick conversation about what needs to be finished and sent out by the end of the day. There is no corporate hierarchy or bosses in suits here; we all just do whatever needs doing to get the job done. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of a job and we have to wait for the generator to start up, which is just a normal part of life in this area. We do not spend any money on marketing or signs. Most of our work comes from people who heard about us from other local workshops. It is quiet work that takes a lot of focus and a steady hand.
