You can find us at 131, 10th 'A' Main in Jayanagar. We are in the 1st Block. It’s a quiet spot, which suits the kind of work we do here at Pradhan Herbal Company. The smell of dried leaves and oils is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a bit strong for some, but we like it. We’ve got shelves full of jars and packets. We spend a lot of time weighing out ingredients and packing them for people who come in. It’s not a big factory or anything like that. It’s just us doing things the way they’ve been done for years. We get our supplies from various places, mostly direct from people who grow them. Jayanagar has changed a lot, but our little corner feels pretty much the same as it did when we started. Sometimes the labels are a bit crooked because we do it by hand. We don't have those big automated machines. It takes longer this way, but we can see exactly what’s going into every bag. People come to us for all sorts of things, maybe something for a cold or just something to help them sleep better. We just give them what has worked for others before. It’s practical stuff. We don't use fancy packaging. Plain paper or simple plastic bags mostly. It keeps the costs down for everyone. We usually close early on Saturdays to spend time with our families. We also have a small notebook where we write down what people are looking for if we are out.
