Ponny Food Industries

Ponny Food Industries is based at unit 58 in the Revabhai Industrial Estate. We are on Suralia Estate Road, which is pretty close to the Ctm Char Rasta in Amraiwadi. It is a very active industrial zone. There are always trucks backing in and out, and the noise of other factories is everywhere. Our unit, number 58, is where we handle all the food production. We’ve got a good group of workers who show up every day and put in the hours. It’s not an easy job, staying on your feet and making sure the machines are running correctly. We deal with snacks and other food products. The smells inside the factory are usually quite nice, depending on what we are making that day. Being near Ctm Char Rasta is convenient for shipping things out because the roads connect well from there. We aren't a high-tech facility. It is mostly basic machinery and a lot of manual labor. The floor is concrete and we have to keep it scrubbed clean constantly. Amraiwadi is a tough, hardworking neighborhood, and we fit right in. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just make the food and send it to the markets. It’s been our way of doing things for a long time. The office is just a small corner with a desk and a few chairs. We prefer being out on the floor anyway. It keeps us busy and the day goes by much faster than sitting around.
