Being on the fifth floor of the Saffron Building in Ambawadi keeps us right in the middle of things. Polylink Polymers India Ltd isn't a huge operation in terms of people, but we stay busy with the polymer business. The office has a view of the street, which is nice when things get hectic. Most of our time is spent on the phone or tracking shipments. Polymers are one of those things people don't think about much, but they're in everything. We handle the logistics and the sourcing part of it. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of samples lying around. Some mornings we are scrambling to find a specific batch for a customer, and other afternoons are spent just filing reports. Ambawadi is a good area to be in, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes for visitors. We’ve been at 506 for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much. We drink a lot of tea while going through the inventory lists. It’s not a glamorous job, just steady work that needs to be done right. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we take the stairs, which is good for the legs I guess. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just manage the polymer trade from our little corner here. It’s honest work and keeps us occupied from morning till evening.
