Polycan Industries

Polycan Industries is tucked away behind F.D. College, right near Jamalpur Gate. We’ve been in this spot for years and the building number is 4/2/3. It’s basically a working factory space. It's definitely not a showroom or a place where you'd find a lot of decorations. We spend our time managing the production lines and making sure everything is moving along correctly. Jamalpur is a crowded part of town, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache with the traffic around the gate. We just deal with it as best as we can. Most of the staff has been here for a long time. We know each other's families and what's going on in the neighborhood. It's a bit loud inside because of the machinery, but we're used to the noise by now. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters. If someone needs something, they usually just call us up or show up at the gate to talk. We keep a pot of tea going for the afternoon break, which is when we finally sit down for a minute. The floor gets cluttered with materials, but we try to clear it out every Friday afternoon. It’s just a regular workplace. We don't try to look like a big multinational company because we aren't one. We’re just a local industry doing our part in Jamalpur. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them ourselves with whatever tools we have.
