Working out of Sector-5 has its own rhythm. Our building, A-105, is right in the thick of the industrial zone. It’s the kind of place where you hear the hum of electricity and machinery from the moment you park your scooter in the morning. We’ve been operating here for a good while, and the area has changed quite a bit over the years. Some neighbors have left, and new ones have moved in, but we stayed put. Inside, the floors are concrete and the ceiling fans are always spinning to try and catch a breeze. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. The walls are mostly covered with old calendars and clipboards holding work orders. Our day is mostly spent overseeing the production line and making sure nothing breaks down. It’s practical work. We eat our lunch together in the small break area, usually talking about the news or the weather. When the trucks come in to load up, the whole place gets even busier. It can be a bit dusty, and the noise level is high, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there; we just want to make sure the stuff we build is sturdy. It’s a straightforward industrial life here in Sector-5. We finish our shifts, lock up the gates, and head home like everyone else.
