Plus Mach Engineers

Our workshop is located in Shed 7 over at Kabir Complex. It’s part of the larger Industrial Complex 'A' area, so there’s always trucks and deliveries moving through the gates. At Plus Mach Engineers, we focus on the technical side of things, mostly dealing with machinery parts and fabrication. The shed gets hot in the summer, but that is part of the job. We have our tools spread out across a few workbenches. It isn't the cleanest place you’ve ever seen, but everything is where it needs to be for us to work. We don't spend much time on fancy emails or meetings. Usually, someone brings in a drawing or a broken part, and we see what we can do with it. The neighbors in the other sheds are mostly doing similar work, so it feels like a community of sorts. We’ve been at this for a bit now, learning the quirks of the local supply chain. If a machine breaks down, we are usually the ones people call to take a look. It’s straightforward engineering work without any of the extra fluff. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There is always a lot of heavy lifting and measuring involved. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders as they come in. It’s a lot of manual labor and basic math, but it pays the bills and keeps the local shops running.
