Plasmould

Plasmould is located over at L/200 in the G.I.D.C. Estate in Odhav. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise and trucks moving around. We work with plastics and molds, obviously, given the name. The shop floor is usually busy with whatever project is currently on the machines. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because that’s just the nature of molding and manufacturing. We spend our days looking at designs and making sure the plastic comes out the way it’s supposed to. Some days the heat in the shed gets a bit much, especially during the summer months in Gujarat. We have a small team here. Most of the guys have been with us for years and they know the machines better than anyone. We don't do much talking; we mostly just focus on the orders. If you need to find us, just look for the L/200 gate. It’s right in the middle of the estate. We handle all sorts of plastic jobs, some big and some small. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. Usually, someone calls up or drops by the office with a sketch. We take a look, see if it’s something we can do, and then we get to work. It's a simple setup, but it works for us and the people who buy from us. We just keep the machines running.
