P.K. Industries

We’re based at Plot No. 62 in the Functional Industrial Estate Patparganj. It’s right across from the Patparganj Bus Depot, which makes it easy to explain to people where we are. The estate is always buzzing. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. Inside our unit, we have our machines set up. It’s a bit cramped because we try to make the most of the space we have. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of workers. It’s a smaller team here, and everyone knows each other. P.K. Industries is really just about making things and getting them shipped out. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon with a wrench in hand. It’s not glamorous work. My office is just a small corner with a window that looks out onto the street. I see the same tea seller and the same delivery drivers every day. We don't go in for any of that corporate talk about visions or goals. We just want to make sure the orders are filled and the quality is decent enough that nobody complains. It’s a practical way to run a business. We stay busy, we keep the floor swept, and we try to get home before the traffic gets too bad. That’s pretty much the whole story. We keep it honest and just do the work we are given.
