We have our workshop out at Plot No. 177 and 178 in the Devraj Industrial Park. It’s right on the Piplaj Pirana Road. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the machines before you see the door. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always got that smell of oil and metal in the air. We’ve got two plots joined together which gives us a bit more space for the lathes and the heavy equipment we use for our engineering work. It gets really hot under the metal roof when the sun is out, but the guys are used to it by now. We started this place because we knew how to fix things and build parts. It wasn't about having a big name, just about doing the work that came in. The office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main floor so we can hear ourselves talk over the noise. We don’t have any fancy receptionists. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and comes over to see what you need. Piplaj is a bit out of the way for some, but for us, it’s where all the work happens. We keep the inventory stacked in the back and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a lot of long hours and getting your hands dirty, but that’s just how engineering is. We don't do much in the way of decoration, we just focus on the metal.
