Pioneer Engineering Services

Our place is at Plot No. 428 in G.I.D.C. Odhav. If you know Odhav, you know it’s a place for people who like to build things. Pioneer Engineering Services isn’t a huge operation, but we stay busy enough. We mostly deal with mechanical repairs and some fabrication work when the orders come in. The floor is concrete and it’s seen better days, but it holds up the heavy stuff just fine. We have a small team of guys who know their way around a toolbox. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Most people find us because they know someone who worked with us before. It’s all about the word of mouth in this part of town. When we aren't working on a specific job, we’re usually cleaning the tools or organizing the scrap pile in the back. It’s a lot of manual labor and sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when the monsoon hits and the roads get muddy. But we show up every morning anyway. We’ve got a rhythm going here. Someone puts the radio on, someone starts the compressor, and we just get to work. There isn't much more to it than that. We just provide the services that people in this area need to keep their own businesses running. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s a simple shop with people who know their craft and show up on time.
